"NOW AND INTO THE FUTURE." We celebrated CWIL's Birthday on January 20, 2019 at the Woman's Club of South Charleston, 219 D Street, South Charleston, WV 25303 at 3:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. We celebrated 121 Years of helping women to achieve their dreams, their goals and their accomplishments.
"NOW AND INTO THE FUTURE." Our future is your future; we celebrate our founders and our members and their communities.

We wanted to get the word out to every woman about the importance of getting mammograms for Breast Cancer Awareness.
We honored women who have given their all and have sacrificed so much to raise their extended families, foster children, teens and others who have no homes or family members to care for them. Each woman were given a special gold embossed certificate from our Governor Jim Justice.

This is another program that we are working on to implement in the near future. This program is designed to enroll and educate mentors and facilitate instructive interaction between adults, young girls and women.
We often volunteer on Thursdays and Saturdays to help feed people in our communities at Manna Meal located at 1105 Quarrier Street, Charleston, WV. This program selected young girls and women who have volunteered their services to their communities by helping those in need, for instance taking food to seniors who are not able to leave their homes or walking their neighbor's dog.
They also are doing good at their schools academically while being involved in school activities such as the band, sports and community service related activities.

On February 17, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. and located at the Park Place Stadium Cinemas on 600 Washington Street, Charleston, WV, we invited over 100 teenagers to join our CWIL Organization and we paid for their movie ticket, popcorn and their drink. We also gave away in a drawing as gifts the Black Panther Figurines to a few teens who had the lucky tickets.
On February 17, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. and located at the Park Place Stadium Cinemas on 600 Washington Street, Charleston, WV, we invited over 100 teenagers to join our CWIL Organization and we paid for their movie ticket, popcorn and their drink.
